        â€¢ A Planner for homework and messages
             that is used daily
        â€¢ Established routines that the class knows well
        â€¢ Clearly defined expectations and explanations
             (Written down for the student)
        â€¢ Verbal information and key concepts are paired
             with visuals (pictures and/or written down)
        â€¢ Instructions are given in steps and displayed
             visually 1, 2, 3 . . .
        â€¢ Templates or systems are provided to help
             with organization
