ASKABLE ADULT / PARENT WORKSHOP
Families and caregivers welcome
May 10th 6 - 9 pm in the library
Talking to kids about sexuality and reproduction can be difficult for adults and caregivers. The Options for Sexual Health (www.optionsforsexualhealth.org) interactive Askable Adult program will look at how to begin discussions and how to share information with kids in a clear and understandable way. You will hear suggestions on: - What kind of sexual health information is needed at various ages?
- How to handle questions?
- What kinds of words to use?
- How to discuss feelings, emotions, and family values?
ASKABLE ADULT/PARENT WORKSHOP IS SPONSORED BY: DBES PAC; RCES PAC; SCAS PAC.

BULLYING DAY WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 29TH
The Davis Bay School community was treated to improvisational theatre preformed by the Chatelech Secondary Theatre Society. We welcomed 7 actors, two of whom are DBES alumni, who used the story of the Three Little Pigs to increase awareness regarding what bullying is, how people are effected, and how to positively respond. The Big Bad Wolf was placed on trial before a jury of students who all voted in favour: B.B. Wolf was in fact engaging in bully behavior. Each actor gave a testamonial regarding their personal experiences and positive solutions. Together, the DBES students and staff, and the CSS Theatre students read and signed the following pledge:
DBES ANTI-BULLYING PLEDGE
