Halfmoon Bay Community School Association Program

Coordinator: Sue Lamb1152006_94418_0.jpg

Halfmoon Bay Community School Association is funded by a CommunityLink grant through the School District to operate the Community School Programming here at Halfmoon Bay Elementary Community School.  We are a non-profit society called the Halfmoon Bay Community School Association which is governed by a volunteer board of directors and works in conjunction with the School District staff.

Our mission statement is to "Be a supportive team of community members who work in partnership with our school to provide an environment which encourages pride and belonging, and works to build a healthy community."  We achieve this by offering a variety of programs.

We believe:

*It takes a whole community to raise a healthy child
*Today's healthy children are the foundation of tomorrow's healthy communities
*All individuals have something to offer
*Our school is the hub of our community and welcomes everyone
*Being self sufficient empowers us
*Learning never stops
