Madeira Park Elementary School is a kindergarten to grade six school that offers a full range of programs;  academic, fine arts and athletic.  We are found in the centre of the Madeira Park visit, approximately 34 kilometres north of Sechelt.

Our academic programs are supplemented with a well equipped library and portable computer lab, complete with monitored internet access.

Our fine arts program includes a comprehensive music program, as well as a primary and an intermediate choir.

Our physical education program is enhanced by whole school-focused themes, extra-curricular programs and clubs, as well as numerous community school activities.

Madeira Park Elementary School is a place where all are welcome; parents, guardians and community volunteers are an integral part of our school community, essential to our success.

FIGHT THE FLU
Please take the time to read the Fight the Flu article, the link for which is located under the Important Information heading on the left hand side of this page. Let's do everything we can to insure our kids stay healthy.
Inclement Weather
Snowy weather has the potential to cause classes to be postponed. Listen to CKAY FM (91.7) for information. If snowfall is unexpected and significant school start times will be delayed by two hours. This will allow for more snow removal prior to buses and students travelling to school. School phone trees and radio announcements will alert you to any change.
Egg Allergy
We are asking parents who have students in Div. 4 (Ms. Kammerle's class) to refrain from bringing any eggs or egg products into the classroom. We have a student who has a severe reaction to these products. Thank you!
Internet Safety
Renowned national speaker Jesse Miller will give a special presentation at 5:45-7:00 pm Thursday Feb. 23 at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School.
