School District No. 46 offers an on-line learning program to support families who wish to have their children complete their educational program from home. SPIDER, Students Participating In Distance Education Resources, is available for students in grades K through
12.
SPIDER offers courses leading toward high school graduation, anytime anywhere there is internet access. SPIDER offers families flexibility with access to many school district resources, including fine arts and outdoor education, in order to expand their child’s educational program. SPIDER is a unique online learning program for the Sunshine Coast providing teacher support and learning resources close to home. Courses, resources, and quality instructional support are provided free of charge.
Registration is limited in order to ensure quality of support and access to a variety of resources. Registration for the '08/09 school year will take place on an ongoing basis. Registration packages are available at the SPIDER website:
